Among them, <\/span>Rocinha, known as the largest favela in Rio<\/span><\/u><\/a>, and even in all of Brazil, particularly caught our attention. Aware of the often one-sided images conveyed by the media, we wanted to understand the real life of its residents. It seemed essential to do so in the most respectful and authentic way possible. That’s where Rafael came into the picture!
